Review & Product Pictures + Swatches: Shiseido Pore Smoothing Corrector, Refining Makeup Primer, Natural Finish Cream Concealer

**Note: pictures are not photoshopped! (I couldn't photoshop them even if I wanted to heh)

Shiseido Pore Smoothing Corrector

I apply it on the areas around my nose because that's where my pores are most noticeable.

  • It has a smooth and thin consistency-- feels very nice on my skin
  • Helps to minimize the appearance of pores (hopefully you can see the difference in the 2 pictures above!)
  • Has a slight minty scent to it. I find it quite pleasant!

Shiseido Refining Makeup Primer

I put this picture (below) up because I saw a slight difference between this pic and the ones above (without the primer).

  • Looks tinted in the tube, but spreads out to a colourless finish
  • Spreads out very easily
  • Applies smoothly with a thin consistency
  • Preps skin for makeup by creating a smooth canvas
  • As far as oil control goes, I don't find that it helps at all. My T-zone still gets oily by the end of the day.
  • I would say that it is slightly scented, though I can't make out what scent is it.

Shiseido Natural Finish Cream Concealer

  • Has a smooth, relatively thick consistency for a liquid concealer. It's not exactly thick, but not as runny/watery as most liquid concealers tend to be.
  • Very blendable and buildable (plus points!!)
  • Scent-less
  • Concealing ability is slightly above average. Well, just look at the pictures above for a comparison. I applied it under my eyes and around my nose in the pictures above.

Looks like I need the Pore Smoothing Corrector. Do you apply it just on the parts that has visible pores? & over or under a makeup primer? TIA!
