I received the latest Hada Labo Retinol Lotion from The Sample Store last month, but I've been testing it out daily so I didn't want to rush a review and blog about it so soon. It's been about slightly more than a month since I've used this product and I use it day and night after washing and drying my face.
I was super excited when I received this product, mainly because I loved (and still do) their other lotion I received last year. See my review of the other lotion here: http://mcgorgeous.onsugar.com/Review-Hada-Labo-Super-Hyaluronic-Acid-Hydrating-Face-Wash-Lotion-9110876
So the first thing I did was to do a comparison of the 2 lotions!

Difference between the Retinol Lifting + Firming Lotion and the SHA Hydrating Lotion:
- The Retinol lotion is slightly heavier and stickier; SHA lotion is lighter and less viscose (more fluid), this is evident in the picture below
- Both can be applied the same way, by applying on palms and then patting onto your skin until absorbed
- Both leave my skin feeling soft and supple and subtly moisturized
I, being a very lazy girl, don't really like wearing moisturizer (on top of other reasons) so this is all I use to moisturize my face in the morning. I have normal skin, but I find that my cheeks still can get a little dry sometimes, so if you have dry skin, you may want to apply a moisturizer on top of this product.
Regular use of this lotion is supposed to improve elasticity, radiance and give a more youthful appearance to the skin. It also claims to significantly smooth fine lines and wrinkles, leaving skin feeling soft, supple and revitalized. I haven't used this product long enough to say that my fine lines and wrinkles have been smoothened out, but I can definitely testify to the part about having your skin feeling soft, supple and revitalized!
I find that this product is also a good pick-me-up for my skin in the morning.
The 3 anti-aging ingredients in this product are:
1. Retinol Vitamin A -to reduce fine lines and wrinkles
2. Collagen -to improve skin's elasticity
3. Super Hyaluronic Acid ***major ingredient in hydration!!
The use of this lotion helps to prepare the skin to fully receive the benefits of other Retinol products too.
All in all, I really like this product and recommend it!!
I also recommend the Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion and if you want to try it out without spending any money, fret not!
